Taking a break from my job search. Scan's not so great, but here's a realistic Garnet. Wow are her colors difficult to match with colored pencils!

There are just so many great details here. The design is fantastic, absolutely nailing the look and feel of Garnet's original design but translating each detail perfectly into a more "realistic" form ((having one of her pant-legs cut off to simulate her original look is just brilliant XD). And then you get into all those textures! All those brilliant lighting effects! The colors here are just AMAZING, really capturing this great sense of realism and detail and physicality, it's great. Top it all off with a "yeah, so?" expression that feels oh-so-Garnet, and who could possibly resist?
